Our teachers seek to build-up and encourage each individual child, helping them gain self-esteem as well as develop respect for themselves and others. Our curriculum units align with PA standards and modern best practices in learning. We explore letters, numbers, colors, shapes, weather, nature and community.
Free Play - a time for imaginative play, sharing, cooperating and interacting with others. Blocks, puzzles, puppets, home living.
Circle Time - a time for sharing ideas, reading, singing, calendar, weather and praying together.
Snack & Recess - a time for outdoor play on the playground or in the gym to develop large motor skills.
Center Time - small group work time and activities to develop the motor skills.
Music, Art & P.E.
Themed assemblies are planned during the year to complement special topics or units that children are studying.
Special Visitors and family members will be invited periodically to come to the school. Parent volunteers are encouraged to participate in classrooms (clearances are required).
Missions/Service: During February, children learn about the needs of others inside & outside their community.
Holiday celebrations include Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter
